The front splitter was among the first aerodynamic elements Duke added, and it’s made out of alumalite with corrugated plastic that has been rhino-lined, which allows it to be light and thin, but also strong enough that you can stand on it. While it clearly doesn’t lack that, the main idea was for the car to be as balanced as possible while shedding as much weight as possible and maximizing downforce.
